Frequently asked questions when working in the IAS Kapstroy

Frequently asked questions when working in the IAS Kapstroy.

1. I can't download the estimate (the 'Download estimate' button is not active)

Answer: In order for the 'Download estimate' button to be active, you need to select not the folder, which the estimate is located in (highlighted in red in the figure), but the final file in the directory (highlighted in green in the figure).

 2. The certificate is not loaded into the system, there is an error ‘Estimate is not approved’

Answer: If the error 'Estimate is not approved' appears, this means that the estimate is still being checked and you cannot work on it yet. An example of an approved and a non-approved estimate is given in the figure.

 3. When I download the second and subsequent certificates on one estimate, I get an error ‘The certificate cannot be loaded, KS-2 is already formed’

Answer: This mistake means that you have used the previous uploaded certificate to create a new one. To prevent such an error, each new certificate shall be created from the newly downloaded estimate from the system.

 4. The certificated is not uploaded after changing the name or price justification from the reference books (TER, TSTS, GESN, etc.)

Answer: The names and justifications specified in the certificate cannot be changed, with the exception of price item justification, where you need to specify the number and date of the attached invoice.

5. The facility is not displayed in the capital investment facility register (from a subcontractor)

Answer: The contractor general adds the facilities in the system for the subcontractor.

6. The certificate was returned for revision with the requirement to change a price or a justification.

Answer: Price change directly in the IAS Kapstroy is not provided! In order to change the price, you need to enter the certificate you need in the IAS Kapstroy; through the ACTIONSbutton, you need to download the CURRENT CERTIFICATE VERSION; then you shall open it in Grandestimate, where you can already change a price and a justification; and upload the modified certificate to the system in the same window via the Addbutton. If everything is done correctly, a new tab with the certificate version will appear in the system.

Important!

1) the price can only be changed for the items not related to the prices from the reference books (TSTS, TER, GESN, etc.), that is, only in the positions, where the contractor sets the price and attaches the document (invoice, consignment note etc.).

2) the price can be changed only downwards. If you change the price upwards, the system will not allow you to download the certificate.

 7. When loading a certificate, I receive an error The certificate with this number is loaded

Answer: At the certificate creation stage in the Grandestimate, the CERTIFICATE MODE has a CERTIFICATE PARAMETERS button. In the window that appears, the first line is the certificate number and dateparameter, by default, the Grandestimate puts the certificate number 1in each certificate you create, so to prevent an error, you need to change the certificate number to the next one (2, 3, etc.).
